Jay Stamper: Putting South Carolina First

“I’m running because too many people are struggling every day just to support themselves and their families. Too many people are unemployed or underemployed. Too many people are unable to keep up with the rising costs of healthcare and education.
I’m running to stand up to the politicians in Washington D.C. who would rather invest in nation-building overseas than investing in education, infrastructure and research to create jobs here at home.
I know we can do better. We can raise our standards and our expectations for the leadership we get from Washington D.C. We can apply common sense, innovation and compassion to the challenges we’re facing, and we can ring in new era of prosperity for the United States and for South Carolina.”
